- There are 3 ways that you can install vMac. Using any of these methods
- will install vMac into the Program Files\vMac folder, and add vMac to
- your Start Menu.
-
- 1. Open (AKA run) the Setup program (This may not work under Windows NT)
-
- 2. Open Windows Explorer, right click on the Install file,
- and select Install.
-
- 3. Go into Control Panel, open Add/Remove Programs, click the Windows
- Setup tab, click the Have Disk button, click the Browse button, and
- select the file named Install.
-
- Note: It will put CDEnable.vxd in Windows\System, and CDEnable.sys in
- Windows\System32\Drivers. The CDEnable.vxd file is required for use
- under Windows 95. The CDEnable.sys file is required for use under
- Windows NT. Both files will be installed regardless of the operating
- system you are using. Windows 95 doesn't have a System32 or Drivers
- folder, so they will be created if they don't already exist. Don't worry,
- this shouldn't cause any problems.
